To sharpen I usually go all the way to the bottom of my layer pallete, duplicate my base, go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen, and set that to around 40%, or whatever looks sharp enough. Make sure you don't move it too high or else they'll start turning orange. Lastly, I went to Hue/Saturation and moved the Saturation up a little, just for some added color. :D Just don't overdo it or else the skin can turn too pink, which looks really ugly.Ĥ. I really like that effect on skin color and use it on practucally every icon I make. In the WHITES, I moved the Yellow down to around -40. In the YELLOWS, I again upped the Yellow slide to about +15, to bring color to their skin. I set the Yellow to +8 just to add a little color. Selective coloring! I wanted to bring out the reds in Ashlee's hair so in the REDS and I slid the Cyan to around -70. Set that to color burn at an opacity of your choosing to add some darkness/contrast.ģ. Make a new layer and fill it with gray ( #ACACAC). Duplicate your base screen it to your desired lightness.Ģ.
